On March 31, 2004, International Express Co., Ltd. received certification from a registration body, confirming that our environmental management system complies with the requirements of ISO 14001.

Our registered scope covers transport, warehousing, and distribution processing services. We obtained certification at three sites: the Nagoya Branch Transport Division, the Kansai Branch Transport Division, and the Fukuoka Branch Transport Division Fukuoka Air Cargo Center (Domestic), and we are committed to environmental conservation.To respond to increasingly stringent conditions, including legal requirements such as the NOx/PM Act and the Waste Management Act due to tightened environmental regulations on the logistics industry, our company has set "promotion of resource and energy conservation" as an environmental objective for our transport and warehousing divisions, and we conduct our business activities accordingly.

1. As a company involved in the logistics business, we recognize the importance of ensuring transport safety. We also aim to be a company that consistently considers environmental impact in all business activities and actively engages in environmental conservation.

    

2. We will strive for energy and resource conservation, waste reduction, and promotion of recycling within technologically and economically feasible limits, working towards managing our business with consideration for global warming suppression and environmental protection.

    

3. We will comply with applicable legal requirements and other agreed-upon requirements, endeavor to reduce environmental load and prevent pollution, and continuously improve our environmental performance.

    

4. We will establish environmental objectives and continuously improve our environmental management system through activities for achievement and regular reviews.

    

5. This Environmental Policy will be documented and made public outside the company, and thoroughly educated and communicated to all employees. We will also request cooperation and provide guidance to our affiliated companies.
